Christmas in the summer time

It seems like ages since I last posted. Too much work on and a baby toddler to chase around the house. Still can't complain, all good:) I've been busy doing Christmas commissions mainly and adding to my portfolio for next months Print Source. How quick has that come round again!

I was just looking at some old designs which have found homes and found this one... i think frogs are so cute and funny. This one found a home as textiles and I'm sure will look great.

It's time for gloves

I have to put my gloves on now.It was soooo cold at the weekend! This design was sold last winter so time for some more glove designs I think!

I was just cleaning up some old files and found these images of a collection I did a while ago for Saturday Knight. I thought it was fun and love seeing what companies do with my work. I still get excited now!

Its been a while...

I haven't blogged for ages, time flies when you're having fun looking after a new baby, well a 7 month old one. The days are so busy I end up working after little ones gone to bed (which isn't ideal as I'm now worn out!) Anyway still busy with projects and wanted to share some winter florals.

Christmas again

Been busy working on Christmas again. It does make it easier when its raining outside, lets hope for some sunshine, I'm fed up with the Summer full of rain we have had!

Our first fathers day

Ok so I'm early posting this, but I'm sooooo excited to celebrate our first fathers day this weekend I thought I'd get it in early! George will be 12 weeks old and already he has bought his dad some of his favourite beer from Yorkshire (Black Sheep)....Anyway roll on Mothers Day!

Happy Jubilee Weekend

Happy Jubilee weekend. Our street is celebrating with a massive street party on Sunday. Picnics, bunting, games and lots of fun! We will be taking baby George up for his first social function!

Surtex is underway now and I'm busy working on new art for the next show Printsource. This design sold at the last Printsource show. I think some tropical allovers would be fun.

Since having George, children's art is at the top of my list. This was inspired by his new rabbit teddy!

Surtex is just round the corner and as well as looking after a new baby, I'm busy in-between trying to sort out new work for Surtex. Roy and Jane Evans Designs will be showing my work again this year. If you're going to the show please call by their Booth 113.

Welcome to the world George..

I have been very busy at the the moment and taking time out to look after my new son George. My first one! He was born March 22nd and I'm slowly getting used to it all! What a whirlwind of washing, feeding and nappy changing.... and a few odd hours of designing for therapy between feeds!

Heres a little Easter Chick design for him and I suppose now my work will feature a lot of baby art seeing as I have such good research.

So heres to a happy future for you George.

I love creating bird artwork. I did these awhile back for a company so they have a nice home to go to!
It reminds me of Spring and being woken up early with the sound of birdsong filling the bedroom.... could do with a lie in!

Nautical and coastal designs have been the theme for this week...I love the coast and can't wait for my summer holiday which is usually somewhere in Cornwall checking out all the fishing boats.
