Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas........ Don't eat too many Christmas Buns! Nearly ready for the BIG day now. Although will still be getting a few last minute designs done for Print Source and all the boring bits like accounts get sorted over the festive period. I love doing a Christmas Eve design, makes me feel so festive too! xx

Flower power

I thought this Spring floral would be a little uplifting in all this snowy weather. I've just been for a run in a blizzard of snow and can't wait for spring when all the lovely flowers are out, I can almost smell the scent in this design!

Cards

Printing

I'm busy getting ahead and printing new work out for Print Source. I am being represented by Roy and Jane Evans and this design has just come off the printer. Let's hope it's a good show, I'm really busy getting lots of new work done!

Dachshund!

It's a dachshund day today!! Of course, owning a mini wirehaired, one helps with the inspiration. It's been -6 here today so I felt alot warmer working with these lovely colours!

Forget the snow!

I'm trying to forget the heavy snow outside and think of sunnier times - hence jungle animals, enjoying the sunshine. Makes you feel sunny!

Walking in the woods

Poppy and I had our afternoon walk in the wood today. We often walk in the local wood and find such good inspiration here! Look what happened when we got back in the studio!

Peace on Earth

This is a recent collection, created with love...of course! It's starting to feel very Christmassy now, always easier to work on Christmas designs but really I should be working on Spring/ Summer for Print Source which is just round the corner.

Christmas shopping....

I have started Christmas shopping today. I popped out at lunch time and bought my first present.It's now started...the count down! Anyway this post is from a collection which recently sold on Roy's New York trip.

Winter friends

A winter gathering of our favourite winter animals. These ones have had a little trip over to the states last month with Roy & Jane Evans Designs, who's also busy showing some of our work off. Luckly these ones have found new homes!!

Jungle fun...

I thought I'd stay on the animal theme today. This design was sold recently for textiles in the US, it's inspiring me on the the next round of animal designs...I think more tropical could be fun and cheer me up, seeing as it's raining cats and dogs outside today!!

Down on the farm...

Look at what a great job the Ulster Weavers have done with our farm yard design for Lakeland. As you can see there is a massive colour improvement from our design on the right! I just love the cow tea cosy! We spotted it the other week in Lakeland and are so pleased with the results! They'll be more in the line early next year, can't wait to see the full collection.

Watch the birdie..

Recently we have been working on alot of florals for next spring. This is one of the latest, featuring one of my favourite little birdies!

It's getting chilly!

Staying on the winter theme because it is definitely much colder today and it is the first time I've worn gloves when walking Poppy the dachshund.( who will be featured on this blog from time to time!). I love all the winter animals on this Lodge design, it feels so wintery.....

Cheeky Monkey...

It's a beautiful clear sunny day here in Yorkshire but it's getting chilly, nearly time for hats and gloves! Makes me think of winter time and theses cheeky monkeys having fun in the snow. Can't wait for a white covering of snow, everything looks so beautiful.
