Snow...

I woke up to 4 inches of the white stuff this morning....I do love it whilst it lasts and looks all fluffy. This artwork is an old favourite and reminds me of cold snowy days...It was sold to Papermagic as a card and was out this year along with a few of his friends.

It's so cold....

It's been so cold here today. I feel like a snowman! My studio is at the top of the house, with the idea that heat rises but not today!Anyway, I still feel like doing Christmas designs with all this chilly weather.

Still on Christmas...at least for the next week or so! These little birdies will be flying off to New York in January with Roy and Jane Evans Designs for Printsource...How time flies!!

New Christmas

I'm busy with Christmas ideas at the moment, easy to do them now with all the lovely designs in the shops.
Printsource is looming and the ideas are flowing, well hopefully!

Christmas from the Ulster Weavers and Trinity

It's been a while....

Sorry its been so long since my last post. Life has been hectic!Lots of new designs and projects. But to say sorry here are some images of new art I'm working on. Had a bird request come in from a client and have moved it onto Christmas birdie art now..still a popular icon then!I love doing Christmas art at Christmas and not summer. Should be working on summer art now though!

Well I've enjoyed doing a new collection of holly and berries, even in all this sunshine! My studio is in the attic and it is boiling up here!

Christmas again

This is part of a collection I'm working on for Sutex next month. Thinking of a new Christmas character now to finish the collection. It was going to be a penguin but I was told buyers aren't into them so much at the moment so maybe a dove!

Christmas doves

It's lovely sunny weather and here I am doing Christmas again! I am always looking for new ideas for this subject and colours and never tire of doing it! This will go to Surtex next month with a few more to join it!

Art Group

We were really pleased to have had these re launched with the Art Group again this year. I'm busy working on new Christmas at the moment...should be doing Spring flowers with all the sunny weather we've had recently though!!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas........ Don't eat too many Christmas Buns! Nearly ready for the BIG day now. Although will still be getting a few last minute designs done for Print Source and all the boring bits like accounts get sorted over the festive period. I love doing a Christmas Eve design, makes me feel so festive too! xx

Dachshund!

It's a dachshund day today!! Of course, owning a mini wirehaired, one helps with the inspiration. It's been -6 here today so I felt alot warmer working with these lovely colours!

Walking in the woods

Poppy and I had our afternoon walk in the wood today. We often walk in the local wood and find such good inspiration here! Look what happened when we got back in the studio!

Peace on Earth

This is a recent collection, created with love...of course! It's starting to feel very Christmassy now, always easier to work on Christmas designs but really I should be working on Spring/ Summer for Print Source which is just round the corner.
